Victorian Lane Bed & Breakfast

Detailed written driving instructions from the traffic light in John Day (intersection of highway 26 and 395).

 

Proceed west along 26/395 for 1.5 miles and turn left onto W. Bench Road (across the street from the John Day Polaris). After 1.9 miles, turn right onto Chimney Gulch Road (county road 74G) and follow that a ways, up the hill where it will curve to the right and turn into Ridge Road. Continue to the end of Ridge Road and turn right on Victorian Lane (just before entering the cul-de-sac). After turning right onto Victorian Lane from the paved road, go to the top of the small hill and turn right at the "Y" (you won't see this "Y" until you come over this small hill), the white house to the right is not the B&B. The driveway for the B&B will be past this white house at the first "left"- denoted by a red headboard sign that says "Victorian Lane Bed & Breakfast". The house is light blue with a wrap around porch. Parking will be to the right across the driveway from the B&B near the sign that says "guest parking". Please note that Victorian Lane is a private dirt and gravel drive that is maintained by the local residents who allow passage to guests of the bed and breakfast (no drive by's please). Drive slowly (10 mph or less) to reduce the dust and the wear to this drive. It's customary to wave hello to anyone you may happen to come across.
